The coefficient on ideological distance between the prez and subcommittee decreases for the post-Gingrich period, but not in a statistically distinguishable way.

@jeffgordon12 I think this is the quickest (and most accurate way) to do this. There are a couple of Github repos that tracked changes, but most are dormant. Regardless, they are often limited to changes during the existence of the repo and changes to gov't source code breaks the automation
