Do you know- Kudjoe Lewis? He was the “last” adult survivor of last enslavement ship from Africa - the Clotilda in 1860. In 1872 he bought a 2 acre plot of land & urged other’s from Clotilda do same, creating town where they spoke their true language & practiced their traditions.

The Black Panthers made available free healthcare, ambulance services, and sickle Cell testing to anyone from any race or background. No one ever paid for services or needed medication. The Panthers covered all cost. This is one of the reasons why they were targeted.

March 9, 1895: Dr. Rebecca Davis Lee Crumpler died. Crumpler was a physician, nurse and author. She was known for being the first Black American woman doctor in the United States. She completed medical school at the New England Female Medical College and received her M.D. in 1864

Klansmen were working inside the Florida Department of Corrections. They tormented &murdered many Black inmates. 11:30 a.m. on Mar 19, 2015, the klansmen were celebrating what they thought was a successful murder in Florida. The murder was actually an FBI sting. 4 were arrested.

January 7, 1868, Polanski Tenn. massacre. One of the first KKK massacres. This massacre was due to a white man be angry that a Black man had the same name as his (yes You read that correctly). It led to a small group of KKK members killing a documented 6 Black men (estimated 21)
