I wish more Jamaicans would know that tamarinds have value & would stop make them stay on the trees & rot year every year. Just put a tarpaulin or bags under the tree, shake it, then throw off the ones that are green or rotting, then bag up the good ones & sell them to me

A farmer called me on Sun saying he had 8000lbs of scotch bonnet peppers & he is seeking a market. I contacted a processor Mon morning and by afternoon the farmer called me thanking me. Did you know scotchies are fetching 800 - 1000/lb? I am not sure what price he got though

Cold water doesn't bother me. I was the last person in my house to bathe lastnight & the first this morning. The trick is to wet your rag without wetting your body. Soap the rag then soap your body. Your body will now be ready for the water. Nice and easy. Dry quickly & get out.

Yesterday was our 15th wedding anniversary after 12 years of dating. We didn't do anything special just grabbed some food, drank some beer and ended the night scrolling through pics from the kids were babies, trips we have taken etc. Was a great family bonding time.

Woke up at 5:18, got up at 5:30, had breakfast on the table by 6:00, all 5 of us out at 7:00. High schoolers and dad dropped off at 7:20, preper and I reach his school by 7:25. Books checked off by 7:50 and I got back home by 8:05. I am so proud. Would like to keep this up.

Saw something beautiful this morning. Saw a man with a little girl (could be her dad) with who appears to be her mom a few steps in front and the man stopped and picked a flower and handed it to her. You should see the smile on her face.

I am concerned abt the state of our health care. An elderly dislocated his retina.Did the surgery at UHWI - a silicone oil was used to hold it in place & shld be removed in 3 mths.The machine broke down.Almost 1 yr in he went to a pvt doc. Cataract has formed & sight maybe lost😡
