Protocols are internet-native businesses with no fixed costs over the long-run, therefore: 1) Tokens are necessary. You cannot accrue value to a Delaware c-corp if you have no fixed costs 2) DAOs are necessary. You need internet-native governance

6/ Why do we need Urbit when we have blockchains? Blockchains solve double spend w global consensus, but most internet apps don’t have a double spend problem. Your instagram data doesn’t need to be agreed on by everyone. Blockchains are the wrong product for many networked apps.
