I get that the local resident Robbert Kuil sees this scenario often enough that he knows how to handle it, but the driver himself does seem completely unable to judge that reverse and turning distance. Something of a "training issue" there, surely?

Just a reminder of what Streatham High Rd looked like near Kingscourt Rd* junction yesterday PM rush hour. Last day BEFORE the LTN was removed. Let's hope these scenes of utter carnage are now gone!! *location of "27 minutes to go 1 bus stop which should take 1 minute" incident

Or... they ARE doing work. Rather than standing on an escalator trying to get to an office to do work.

Yes I know it’s Friday. I know it’s 8am. And I know it’s Easter week, but this is Waterloo, the busiest rail station in Europe and it’s empty. You wonder why our productivity is not going up. Nobody is doing any work, that’s why.

Good morning from the supposed "War On Cars/Motorists" where a motorist has driven into a London level crossing barrier (how?) and now thousands of people have to make alternative travel plans via much longer alternative routes, as their trains can't run.

@LornaBlane @smallfoggyhouse @Mark_J_Harper If you're going to state publicly that breaking the law was down to "a millimetre" of your foot movement & therefore beyond your control, asking the Transport Sec in the very same post to raise speed limits to accommodate you doing speeds you didn't expect to reach is a bad look.

Someone complained that a Chiswick car park has gone. What they mean is it's used for the Sunday markets. Person complains they can't park here to visit them. But if they could, the markets couldn't exist. Turns out person also doesn't have.. a car This is the car park today.

Remember when Hampshire Constabulary started issuing fines for "Cycle helmets used correctly"? Not only the opposite of what they meant, but.. what's the offence!? And.. "Due care and attention for other road user's" (sic) A few years ago now, but a real embarrassment.

A reminder of that time I got a hire car and every time I stopped at a junction or crossing this appeared, bright white forcing my attention and told me to focus on driving.. and then again every time I stopped. I'm pretty sure it was only meant to appear when turning on engine.

@JakeWSimons @spectator "is about three-quarters of the width of a family car" So that's 130cm ish? Which cargo bike is that wide? Even the chunky Curve-E which carries 4 kids is <90cm wide.

The majority of Londoners want FEWER cycle routes, reckons the man who drafted the first National Cycling Strategy for the UK 22 years ago - and who may well be the reason we still hear about "pop-up" and "temporary" infrastructure now, as he simply doesn't seem to understand it.

The child displays way more sense on the road than the bus driver trying a pointless overtake.

Just what was this bus driver trying to achieve. They knew the road narrowed here. Why couldn't they have just waited a handful of seconds to let us cross the lights into the cycle lane and out of their way. Some bus drivers on this stretch are just plain outright dangerous.

According to a Facebook group a Lime Bike repurposed parking space is causing havoc around school drop-off time & collection time. That's right.. not the moving cars all around it, but the static bikes in the parking space.

That is the entire headline. It just 'goes without saying' now. We don't have to mention there was a car.

@Nobbie2020 News: I'm not the cycle lobby. I'm a dad who got sick of seeing his kids placed at risk when walking or cycling, mainly on the school run.
