in animated movies it means extra effort can go into posing every frame to make sure it looks good
in games it means you, as a player, are receiving less information and there's more input delay so the game feels less responsive when you play it as a result

Not oomfs tryna say Bayonetta 3 has higher graphical fidelity than Bayo 2 just because Bayo 2 came out in 2014
It's a 100% testable fact that 2 has higher graphical fidelity. You can look through the files to see the higher polygon count, lighting engine, texture quality, etc...
looks like there's no "persona summon to idle" transition animation, and they just interpolate from one pose to another
and as a result they switch from evoker to the sword a little too early lol
