The @NCAA cross country champs this weekend, has me thinking back on winning 15 years ago. The first of many comebacks for me. They were filled with failures and successes. Many lessons learned, but the biggest came from this race. Don’t throw in the towel! Give it one more shot!

Today was a very tough day but there was no way I was dropping out! I struggled over the last 12k but thinking of my kids waiting for me at the end got to the finish. That was the best I had in me today. Amazing to see @scottfaubs and @jwardy21 run so tough! Great work guys!

It’s always a good feeling to break the tape! Had a blast to win @RunRocknRoll New Orleans half in 61:24. Had to dig deep to kick the last 400m but I surprised myself with where my fitness was. 61 minute half marathons are my bread and butter I guess!

Watching @Thommo10k finish and his interview, just so awesome! Five years ago at Great North Run we sat in the bus after the race both feeling old and beat up. He said he was going to retire soon. He stayed in it and it couldn’t have been a more epic reward. Congrats Chris!

“I’m 39! This doesn’t happen!” Such a good interview by @Thommo10k w/ @TimHutchings1 after winning the British Olympic Marathon Trials. Thompson became a father earlier in the week and just set a personal best of 2:10:50 at the age of 39 to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
