Some postal workers live with people at high-risk for serious complications from COVID-19. After every shift, they worry they are bringing the virus home to their loved ones. Do your part, limit the social interactions, keep your distance.

Our union was forged in conflict and is committed to struggle. Capital never concedes anything without a demand, and organized workers willing to fight for it. This is our foundation as a union; this is what we remember when we say “the struggle continues.”

CUPW is sad to learn that a brilliantly solid and generous comrade, Dr. Aziz Choudry, has left us. A friend and an inspiring activist-scholar, he helped forge our Union’s education program. CUPW will honour his life by ensuring his spirit lives on in our learning and our struggle
We mourn the loss of our Brother Darren Steinhoff.

In education sessions, direct action, workplace actions, and union business, his love and kindness were a crucial part of his activism. His contributions to our struggle live on in the Prairie and Pacific regions of CUPW.
CUPW supports the anti-scab legislation tabled by the federal NDP. Workers deserve that their collective bargaining rights be respected. We are calling on all Members of Parliament to support this much needed initiative. Friends of workers vote for pro-worker legislation.
