Now that the 2020 election season is behind us, a little behind-the-scenes note. All 4 election night specials at CBC News (NB, BC, Sask & USA) were produced by women. And as of this summer, the CBC News Election Team is helmed by women. Feeling proud and grateful.

Every day we have a team conversation about The Moment. Some days you go to bat for a really sweet story and some days that conversation makes it on the air 😂💖
In the heated moments just before air tonight, as the clock ticked down to the opening of the show... I delivered crucial information to a host of the National*. "THAT'S GANDALF YOU'RE QUOTING, NOT DUMBLEDORE JEEEEEEZ"

byelection tonight. This is a gain for the Liberals.
26 of the 37 ballot boxes have been counted in the Athabasca byelection. Of the 1013 votes counted so far, 551 are for ND Georgina Jolibois. 310 are for SaskParty's Jim Lemaigre, 138 for Independent Darwin Roy, 7 for Buffalo party's Clint Arnason. (7 rejected.)

I first learned about this word when a boy scrawled it on a wall about me. I was seven and my mom had to explain what it meant. It’s disheartening to know that mothers are still having to explain it to their daughters.

To the person who stole my amazon package (right off my front porch!) — I like to believe in the best of people so I will assume you needed something. I doubt it was my D&D book and eyemasks, but I hope you found some bit of whatever you were looking for.
This is very cool. It is a pleasure and a privilege to work with an incredibly talented and dedicated team, night after night. Whether in the field, the control room, the edit suite, the newsroom or anywhere in between — every member of this team is so committed to their craft.
I rarely weigh in on twitter conversations but I cannot stand idly by whilst people rip on Jagged Little Pill. You Oughta Know has always been a top five song for me — if you *need* proof (you shouldn’t) this video should do the trick. 🙌🙌🙌
Seeing a lot of Jagged Little Pill slander. Was asked to post the stunning isolated vocals from “You Oughta Know.” This 20 year old woman is BELTING from her chest. We should be bowing down
