I sold my last car, my final car for €500& bought a beautiful granny friendly, high nelly, red& yellow Dutch bike for €650, 5 yrs ago. I love it. .Got two titanium knees in the meantime & venturing out today six mts after last replacement, a wee bit afraid😰Wish me luck🤣🚴🤣🚴

It utterly sickens me to listen to Michéal Martin&Gov lies today. In 1945 Dr James Deeney was appointed chief medical officer for Ireland.He queried the infant mortality rate of babies in a Cork home.He sacked the matron. My point,this was known to be wrong over 70 yrs ago.

In Lourdes Hosp Medical Assessment Unit in Drogheda as I had a wee turn, as they say.The staff are really lovely as I go through various tests. Here since8.00AM,I asked for a cup of tea(brought a sambo)& was served that gourmet meal that only hospitals can produce:Tea+ hot toast

It's only4.30pm but I've gone to bed as I was up half the night with my poor dying dog.He is asleep& I am going to watch a film noir on UTube. Love these films fr 1930s*40s.They only last little over an hr.Dont like leaving dog for longer.He is 23& will sleep permantly soon😪😭

Every Christmas I buy a bottle of Baileys to put it in my morning coffee,for the days just before & after Christmas.Its delicious. It gives a nice wee floatie feeling.I bought a bottle the other day& its driving me mad.I wont open it til 21st,but wish I hadnt bought it so soon🥴

I have two friend coming for lunch& a big walk on the beach in our wellies.Cant wait as I have hardly spoken to a soul face to face for a week,apart fr my one day a week shopping in Dundalk yesterday where I got some curly kale.I am giving them ham& colcannon & appletart🥰🥰🥰

Was a great success.Marinating fowl& meat in buttermilk to tenderise it is centuries old & works well where there is little or no fat...We were all in bed by 7.30pm,having had a day of love.I slept for 9 hrs.Covid has made me,at least,appreciate these special moments more now.

I walked yesterday in the drizzling rain. Today I will walk in the pouring rain.Its brilliant, as few are out& you can stride with abandon. It is wonderfully refreshing to have the rain on your face.I love water.I think I might have been a fish or a seagull in a former life.

I am fond of making soda farls.1/2lb flour makes 4.I would normally eat one &if I'm greedy 2.I have just eaten 3 &I cant move.I had the 1st hot off the pan with scrambled eggs,fr my neighbours hens. My downfall came when I opened a jar of damson jam.

I am going to say something unpopular. In recent years the Arts Council did an investigation into the income of visual artists.Most of them live below the breadline.I want to ask Charities to STOP asking artist for free work. It is extremely unfair& many are too polite to refuse

Had wonderful few hrs in Dublin yesterday,met daughter💞 for 1st time since Christmas 2019,M&S food hall,picnic in back of Stephen's Green(Leeson st corner),used spotlessly clean portable public lavatory at top of Grafton St,then Kennedys Harcourt St for paper& home.Magical🥳
