Just thinking about how I majored in journalism in 2006 because my dream was to work in teen magazines. Then, also in 2006, ElleGirl and Teen People folded. In 2007, Jane folded. In 2008, CosmoGirl folded. In 2009, Teen folded. Media, baby!
what's funny (...not funny) is that most journalists basically are creators. they may not identify as such, but they already have that muscle! what's also funny (...not funny) is that creators are more expensive than journalists.
