About this time last year, after being shouted at as a staff by our new HT (amongst other things), I decided it was time to move schools. One year on, I am SO glad I jumped ship and got out 🫶🏼 life’s too short to be treated like crap x 🌟 x

@miss_c_teaches 😂 Mine spoke to an inspector about reading & was asked what he could infer about her. “You’re loaded and married.I know this cos you’re dressed well & smell incredible so your perfume must have cost loads.”This was in the class; I was trying to carry on as normal & not crack up!

@matthaig1 I did 5 christmases working in M&S before I became a teacher. Today, I stood outside M&S whilst my mum shopped. I adored my time in retail... but I don’t miss Christmas and being threatened by old people with turkeys (true story, it happened.) Retail workers, good luck!

Signed up to @BorrowMyDoggy cos I miss my dogs, living away. Didn’t really think I’d get much out of it... Then I met Betsy who lives down the road from me and needs a walk whenever I’m free! Definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done😂.
