I had a biopsy exactly 8 weeks ago and just got the results this morn (it's benign👍). In #Ontario (and I suspect elsewhere) there are very long waits for biopsy results - I was told up to 12 weeks wait time possible. In short, my heart goes out to others waiting.❤️ Not easy.

I am sooooo close to my long-awaited surgery next week, but overnighting at @SinaiHealth with a pre-surgery scare. Thanks to the emergency department and many doctors who are helping to stabilize me, so we can soon cross the finish line safely. The staff has been amazing ❤️.

Also, while I'm a fan of our Mayor, he is wrong. Traveling internationally to St. Barts during a pandemic is not "a mistake." It's more like a slap in the face to the province's devastated small biz owners, LTC families who are mourning, & healthcare workers who are under siege.

Finished up 8 days of isolation in #PEI . What a relief to finally see my parents and family after almost two years. I was so excited to see them all tonight that I dropped my phone in the ocean, maybe a sign to unplug for a bit.😉 (Yes, my phone is now fried, barely a flicker.)

After 18 months, it was a wonderful feeling of #freedom to get on a ✈️plane in Toronto with my 12YO (both fully vaccinated💉) & fly to #PEI where 80% 12+ are fully vaccinated. Everything open. No masks needed most #PEI places. Grandparent hugs at airport. Thank you Canada 🇨🇦🙏
