The Council Leader wrote today that to fill the budget gap, we'd need to raise Council Tax by ~ 25%. Instead of us pushing that regressive tax up ridiculous amounts, Holyrood MSPs should vote to increase income tax more tomorrow to help properly fund councils & our shared goals.

I hope the cyclist hit is recovering well in hospital. This is not the first incident down Duke St or the surrounding area - it can be a hostile area for cycling. Actual active travel infrastructure & 20mph speed control should be in place to help reduce the dangers of Duke St
