In all contract negotiations, shippers should demand brokers show them receipts for the loads they pay for. In many cases, brokers will refuse to do this. Shippers should not work with these brokers and find a broker who will be transparent.

So, what is the DOT strategy? 112,000 owner operators went out of business this year. Push the ruling on 49 CFR 371.3 out till October 31, 2024 and another 112,000 will be gone by then. Hopefully Timothy Wilkerson will be one of them. REMOVE ROBIN HUTCHESON AS ADMIN OF THE FMCSA!

The average salary for an over the road truck driver has been cut by over half since deregulation in 1980. The average salary is $49K a year. The average salary of a manager at Mcdonalds in NY is 54K a year. FACTS!!!
