@nowthisnews Anyone who gets cat body language can see this gorgeous mountain lion wasn’t after eating the little dog, but was simply curious. I get that Dash’s human was a nervous though! I hope she lets the mountain lion live in peace. We impinge enough on wildlife territory as it is.

Sad news Amazon have confirmed that they are soon to start building their huge warehouse on Melton Fields. This veteran oak tree and ancient hedgerow, home to lots of birds and wildlife, will be cut down and covered in concrete. Just so people can get more ‘stuff’ 😢

Hey @TamworthCouncil why are you ripping up hedging in Castle Grounds car park & replacing it with railings, when we’re in the middle of a biodiversity crisis? There’s now practically no hedging left in the Castle Grounds area. Prime blackbird & sparrow habitat destroyed.😢😡

This year it’s getting a pond, small tree, shrubs, wild flowers, bug hotel & more. 🐞🐝🦋🪲💦🦔🌿🌼🌸 Our developer put up bat boxes & soon to add swift boxes & hedgehog highway. There is hope! 😬

Please leave eggs off your plate. There is cruelty in 'free range' too.....male chicks aren't needed for egg laying & are gassed / macerated (alive) at a day or two old.....another reason I went vegan. #WorldEggDay

@myldn I hope they will replant the trees in city areas that need them and not simply chuck them in the chipper. We need all the trees we can get in cities right now. It also shows that communities need to be directly involved in planning decisions right from the start.
