Bad managers are bad managers period. Male or female. Most people have problems with female managers because of an unrealistic gender expectation. You think they'll be extra nice, perhaps maternal & give allowances 'cos they're female. She's your boss not your aunty or mom.

NYSC is what you make of it. That 'useless' 1 year made me a solid broadcaster. I learned how to write, edit and read news. I made the leap into radio, I volunteered at a station to work/learn unpaid for 9 months. And I built relationships that ensured I'm still employed today
