Why do so many women get irrationally angry at a man relaxing? It's like just the sight of a man at rest boils their blood. Seems like she thinks her husband just dissappears for 10 hours and shows back up having done nothing to make the money that supports her.

The whole thing is a sick joke where he wants the morbidly obese to kill themselves with his food to rid the world of them. He says so completely openly

Saw a girl at church I haven't seen in years. We used to Snapchat each other every day. We were friends back then nothing remotely romantic ever happened. She lost a ton of weight and today pretended like I didn't exist. Not a word spoken to me. She turned her nose up at me.

Protestant Evening prayer: goodnight Jesus thanks for all the stuff you gave me today see you tomorrow! Orthodox Evening prayer: Is this to be my coffin O Lord? Or willst though vouchsafe the passage of my soul to the morning? Lord I am in fear of death and judgement.

Literally nothing. Gaston was loved by the community and a positive force for good Belle hated him because he wasn't smart and she thought she was better than him not because he was a bad guy

Everything which was promised to Abraham was fulfilled already during the time the Old Covenant was active and/or fulfilled in Abraham's Seed singular who is Jesus Christ. Dispensationalists need to read Hebrews. If you are not in Jesus Christ you are not an heir of Abraham

If you are a Christian and you believe that there are no promises that apply to the Jewish people (as a people) today outside of Christ, then you hold to a form of replacement theology.

And the Caesaropapist influence of the Byzantine Emperor to change things in the Church has always seemed to me to have been wrong without Scriptural basis and inappropriate, yet the entirety of Orthodox history stands on it.

Here's the thing. Yes lynching was a brutal form of execution and mob violence but it was mob justice. Black men weren't just picked at random and lynched for no reason they were accused of and usually arrested by the police for heinous crimes usually of a sexual nature.

Dudes named John Smith and Steven Jones choose to be baptized as Chrysologosopouly Hieronymikalyevskyvich and demand you use their Baptismal name when addressing them it's ridiculous. It's one of the things I hate about Orthodox convert culture.

Strange grievance but the thing that's annoyed me the most about becoming Orthodox is the insistence that I be referred to by my baptismal name rather than the one my parents gave me. I prefer the Catholic confirmation name where it just becomes a middle name in a way.

Some of the things that I have noticed modern pagans say to "refute" Christianity are not arguments the ancient pagans ever made. They are Jewish or Muslim arguments that only make sense from their positions believing in Unitarian Monotheism.

And as I began reading history I began to see the Eastern Patriarchates act in ways which were troubling to me. Far from preaching the Orthodox Ecclesiology the Patriarchate of Constantinople repeatedly siezed greater and greater powers for themselves.

Constantinople in particular acted in ways that stand in direct opposition to the way the Orthodox currently say they do things. Constantinople claimed Papal levels of authority and wielded them against the other Easterners repeatedly
