Please avoid beverage/ water bottles on the he floor of your car. They are a recipe for disaster. They might roll behind the pedals obstructing the pedal function. Imagine you want to brake but can't? Next thing you are in a collision.

Remember to press this to 'OFF' if your car is stuck. This is simply putting off the VSC(Vehicle Stability Control) or ESP( Electronic Stability Program). This stops the car from cutting your throttle when slipping. It allows the wheel to spin with power and finally unstuck

Turbo-charger vs super-charger 🧵 Both are usee to increase power in an ICE( internal combustion engine). They do so by pushing compressed air to the engine's air intake. The difference is how they do this. Supercharger uses engine's rotation ( crankshaft rotation) to spin.

If you have a VW MK6/7, you'll notice that the negative cable that connects to -ve terminal looks like frame 1. This means it has a voltage regulator. Once you change the battery, frame 2 will happen and those lights won't go away by driving, unless you do battery adaptation

Look around the engine block for oil leaks (You might need a flashlight 🔦). Start the car and listen to idling. Inconsistent idling might signal a bad timing ( timing is everything on matters engine). Might also be bad spark plugs.

My first major car fix. It was 2012, I had a 2 door Renault Megane coupe. I was changing spark plugs ( although I wasn't used to). There were other component to loosen before reaching the spark plugs. I managed and reached the plugs. I unscrewed all the four plugs.

Radiator sealant and risks 🔧⚠️⚠️ As a motorist, you'll experience radiator leak once in a while due to unavoidable circumstances eg. Age, light collision, loose pebbles etc. When this happens, you'll be advised to use 'stop radiator leak' solution esp is the leak is small.

Buy a car because you can afford, not just the buying price but running costs. Insurance is shooting to the roof in a few days (KE).If you have other priorities, attend them 1st. There's no point of buying a car just to 'fit in'.Don't succumb to pressure,esp social media pressure

DON'T USE WATER AS A COOLANT IN MODERN ENGINES ‼️⚠️ Modern engines require specific coolants. Coolant has some properties that protects the engine from rusting. Using water rusts the inner parts of the engine. Happy motoring

In a manual car, depress the clutch pedal when it's still idling. Change of sounds might signal bad flywheel, clutch or clutch pressure bearing. White smoke from the tail pipe is 🚩. This indicates blown head gasket esp, when coupled with the 1st point.
