‘Learning to live with’ #COVID is about learning how to invest to make environments safe primarily by ensuring safe air in indoor public spaces by CO2 monitoring + ventilation, filtration or air sterilisation. The safer the air, the less we have to wear masks. Delays unhelpful.

Excellent comments on R4 today by Prof Lucy Yardley - it is not the breaking of rules that is the problem but the rules themselves eg having nurseries & non essential workplaces open. It is primarily indoors rather than outdoors where most transmission occurs.

Requiring face masks on buses, trains and in supermarkets has no detrimental impact on the economy. Unlike drinking and eating out, people have to buy food and travel to work. Forcing them to risk their health when they do so isn't freedom. It's criminal.
