when i was 15 i made a promise that i would work on anime before turning 18.
this year, I was able to participate in the black clover movie and jujutsu kaisen season 2.
I'm turning 18 next month.
I've had my shortcomings, but I'm truly grateful to everyone that helped me! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
animations when i was 16, these feel really nostalgic to me so i wanted to share.
when feeling down i sometimes just like to see my progress, even if not that fast compared to the animators im aspiring to become, i realize it's still something to b proud of, and it motivates me
as an animator, i teared up after watching that ep, stood up off my seat and clapped. unironically did that.
it was pure art. im aware about all the production issues but god they still delivered.
im so grateful๐ญ๐ญ i pray for days like this
thank you hakuyo go and jjk team
Some of my genga and LO for JJK
#31
, the 2nd and last cuts had amazing corrections from the director, I learned a lot. Grateful for the opportunity. ๐โโ๏ธ
I worked on
#JujutsuKaisen
season 2 episode 2 (
#26
) as a key animator. I have learned so much. Thank you for the opportunity, I am very lucky to be able to participate.
the sequence i worked on for jjk 26, I did LO and some Genga cuts. i had fun drawing the close ups of the curse. There are a lot of things I could've improved on, but I'll do better next time !
Can someone help me find this animator? He's around my age (17 or 18) and has worked on Jjk. His profile picture wasn't specifically this one, but Im sure it was Kasuga from Azumanga daiou.
I'm aware im still immature, I have so many things to work on. I am really thankful for all my friends that supported me all throughout, I'm really indebted to them.
Let's all do our best !!
i donโt mean this in a mean way: i hope most american animation artists and designers are exploring sakugabooru
you can look up clips from lots of anime, and many more animations from outside japan โ and even down to the particular artist that drew your favorite parts!
what would u guys like to learn animation related that isnt readily available online?
i think there's a huge lack in resources and people talking about it
i might plan to casually teach stuff on yt this summer if i have time, but I'm curious to see what y'all think
it really is still surreal, the thing I've always dreamed of as a kid actually coming true.
Even if I'm not a super sakuga animator (yet), which I really do aspire to become, I'm still proud of what I've achieved, and I hope this inspires even a few people !
@BombasticBooger
got recommended by other freelancers that worked, then when I posted my first credit, I got offers through DMs.
I'll be very honest, I shouldve waited a bit longer and practiced more before my first debut (rwby anime episode 4) But I've learned a lot from my mistakes on it.
@CJDLuffy
yeah the per shot pay is like this. its normal in the anime industry not just Mappa. (been working freelance for 2 years)
If you were working inhouse, there would be a salary plus the per cut pay when contracted. But if its just freelance, this is true for most studios.
i participated a little bit on this arc, nothing special but im grateful to participate alongside very talented staff.
I worked on the last Gojo cut at the end
my personal way of studying animation or art is just thinking of one particular thing to work on and obsessively study it for an hour or two, I'd be looking at drawings/sketches, 3d models or even yt videos on that particular thing

@studio_t_anime
and its only the LO price too.. also the post implies the whole scene with color took 10 hours and only she animated it.. people that aren't in the industry probably will think that.
From beyond the sea of stars rises a terrifying new titan: the Primordial Kraken, a towering omen of antediluvian calamity.
Our

short from today's

! We're releasing a follow-up next month with more setting we couldn't quite fit in time
delving into cinematography and films more as an animator is something i wish i did earlier, it opened my eyes to so much stuff that i wouldnt have known otherwise.
Highly recommend getting into it if you want to have stronger looking cuts
