@Luminn__
“I’ve just had this Calypso, it is fucking MINGING” (minging means horrible)
“Paradise Punch Lemonade… it is fucking minging !”
“SUCK YA DAD !”
“Minging, it’s fucking minging !!”
SPRITE TIP 3:
RBG, Yellow, and GSC have their own shading styles and quirks
Example: Yellow tends to be a bit messy on the outlines and GSC tends to have a plastic-y shine on some pokemon
it's easier to match custom sprites to vanilla if you know the difference
How do you feel 10 seconds after recording that video ? When the cameras are off and it’s just you, alone. Who cleans all that ? Do you mop the stairs and scrub them clean ?
And when you get on your hands and knees, desperate to wipe away the stains, do you reflect on yourself ?
SPRITE TIP 2:
FRLG sprites, at most, use 3 colors for the outlines and 3 colors for the inside for a single-color object
the lightest outline color will usually be the color of the shadows inside the sprite, totaling 5 colors used
(mini) SPRITE TIP:
The gen 3 and gen 4 back sprites have similar light sources, but their shading is completely different ! Keep this in mind when you're working on a Pokemon-related project :]

"hyper- meaning high, natre- referring to sodium, or more formally natrium on the periodic table of elements, -emia meaning presence in blood
high sodium presence in blood
in this small science experiment,"
SPRITE TIP 4:
There's no shame in taking colors from the vanilla sprites ! If your art program lets you mix colors, you can mix colors from different pokemon to get one you like :]
If you're going for a certain gen's style your sprite will ideally blend into the dex at a glance:
