Washington St. hasn't been a highway for a long time, but cars still drive through residential neighborhoods, like Irvington, as if they're cruising on the freeway. Dedicated bus lanes along the Blue Line will make streets safer for drivers and pedestrians.

Passengers should pull the "stop request cord" on the Red Line as the bus approaches the designated station. If there are no stop requests or passengers waiting to board, the bus will continue through the station without stopping. Thank you for riding IndyGo.

Red Line avg daily ridership took it both ways you get 1486.8 people/day. Put them all in cars and park them along the bus route (23' spacing), and the snake of cars would go all the way from the transit center to 49th street. Transit reduces congestion!
