I'm still in utter disbelief that this happened
A 4th-and-12, 4th-and-20, and a 2-point conversion to gift the Bears the top pick
Retire Davis Mills jersey at Halas Hall
Kyle Fuller has become such a weapon that opposing OC's refuse to target him or his side of the field
He's not just playing at an All-pro level, but a DPOY level.

Since 2012, Aaron Rodgers has a 22-30-1 record against teams with a winning record
But sure let's continue to flex on the most QB starved team in football
The Bears suck right now but that literally doesn't matter
Fields is destroying defenses with virtually no help. Surround him with good players and we have something.
I love the Packer fans that are bewildered Bears fans are taking so much joy out of seeing them eliminated
You spent an entire season going "we own you" to the lowly Bears. You deserved this
Bears wins this season:
- The 4-11 Commanders
- the Brian Hoyer Raiders
- Josh Dobbs Vikings
- The 2-13 Panthers
- 3-12 Cardinals
- Lions (great win)
The Bears are 6-9 with the easiest strength of schedule in football (.452 opponent win%)
But sure, let's bring back the coach
Love how Bears players and coaches handled this. No one threw him under the bus. All professional. Gave him no timetable and let him deal with it himself.
Vic Fangio stayed through the JOHN FOX era, aka the worst era of Bears football, and still had a top 10-15 defense every year. He bided his time and is now taking his chance as a head coach. Calling him disloyal is silly.
If you line up the 49ers/Bears rosters side-by-side, the talent level isn't even close.
Unless Jimmy G is a miracle worker and can single handily win games, I don't understand the hype behind SF.
Bears fans: Trubisky is on pace for the best season in franchise history (that's almost 100 years), so don't let petty national pundits ruin your fun.
Bears are a first place with a flawed but improving, young QB. Lots of reasons to be optimistic.
- Giants spend $18m on a WR
> Don't upgrade the QB position
- spend third Overall pick on a RB
> sign a bunch of bad OL free agents
Good plan, Gettleman.
Saints next four
At Tampa Bay (lost to week one)
At Carolina
Pittsburgh
Carolina
That's not a cakewalk. Bears can make things interesting with a win this weekend.
Fields is truly special running the ball. Unfortunately, he has an offensive coordinator that has no awareness of that. The lack of RPOs and designed runs is inexcusable
People alleging the Bears can't turn it around quickly haven't watched any of the AFC South games
Get the right QB-coach combo with decent enough pieces around them, and it could be done in one off-season.
Bears defense has regressed to a bottom 10 unit in the league. It's all fallen apart since 2018 and that's why you don't build towards the future by investing in 27 year old+ defenders
Eight plays, 75 yards and a touchdown over just 2:55. The Rams marched right down on the Bears' defense and this secondary looks to be a major concern.
I haven't heard a single thing about Caleb Williams from his teammates, coaches, friends, etc, that gives me any pause. Quite the opposite. All the noise about his character is coming from disconnected people spreading fake rumors.
Miller Moss had been waiting for his shot for three years, and Caleb wanted him to get a chance. So Williams went to Moss and told him he was going to sit out so that Moss could start and plant his flag.
Caleb sat, Moss balled out, and every other QB immediately went elsewhere.
Finally, the pass blocking. One of the best efforts of the season from the OL in both pass + run
Larry Borom is getting better every week and was a monster on run block
Mustipher and Whitehair continue to struggle.

This is an embarrassing post - going after some of the smartest dudes on Bears twitter because he disagrees with them lol
Learn to detache yourself from your favorite players
Roquan Smith:
118 tot
65 solo
5 PD
1.5 sk
3 QB hit
3 TFL
TJ Edwards:
112 tot
62 solo
1 PD
2 sk
5 QB hit
5 TFL
The drop off between the two is greatly overexeggerated
I genuinely don't understand the rush to get fans back into stadiums. New cases are topping 50k a day right now. The reward for beating this thing should be fans at games, not just to appease some selfish people
Ryan Pace 2018 draft:
- Roquan Smith (126 tackles, 5.5 sacks)
- James Daniels (above average starter)
- Anthony Miller (8 TD catches)
- Bilal Nichols (3 sacks in limited PT)
- Fitts, Wimz, and Iggy all made the roster and contributed
And that's not even factoring in FA/trades
Who says no?
Daron Payne and our 3rd rounder to the Bears for Justin Fields.
It was reported that Ron tried to trade up for Fields when he was drafted. It would also allow the bears to draft a QB at 1 overall.

A bunch of my coworkers are taking out one of my coworkers who took a new job
I agreed to go last minute
Then they all backed out last minute
Now it's just her and I going to dinner.
How
Ben Zobrist retires a Cub. One of the best signings in franchise history and will always be remembered by the city of Chicago. One of my all-time favorite Cubs.
@benzobrist18
The narrative FOX is pushing around Fields running and sustainability is pretty dumb. Bears didn't draft Fields to be a runner. He won't be a volume runner his entire career.

@NFLonFOX
I'm hoping most people can take this measured approach to the season and throw win total out the window. Last thing I want is rushing his development for another nonsense playoff appearance

It's easy just turn off your humanity and submit to some guy on twitter who can't tell that entertainment is a business and not a right.
Listen to the fucking quote and stop being dense
The Bulls defense is legit. Hands all over the passing lanes and able to quickly move into the transition game. Ayo, Caruso, and Zo have this back court defense working.
I'm going to say something highly controversial
Caleb Williams makes this throw to DJ Moore. I've seen him make this exact type of play 50+ times at USC. Williams out of the pocket always has his eyes downfield, looking to throw.
Blaming Trubisky for this loss is completely ridiculous
The defense had TWO opportunities to stop Brock Osweiler on a long field and ended up giving up two TD's. Trubisky answered the call EVERY TIME they needed him.
