Caleb sat, Moss balled out, and every other QB immediately went elsewhere.

A note that I got from a teammate of Caleb Williams today at the USC Pro Day.
Caleb was fully ready to play in the Holiday bowl, but he as an outgoing QB for a Lincoln Riley offense he knew that every QB in the country would be interested in transferring in.

Not enough is mentioned of him sticking around and balling out in the ‘21 Alamo Bowl after LR had already left OU and was actively mining the roster for xfers. Sucked (for us) that he still chose to bounce, but that was an awesome move.

Sounds like a cool story when u spin zone it like that but the kid just didn’t want to risk injury. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Not everything needs to be more than it is
