To clear things up, there are currently 19 Plutus scripts in #Cardano & 21,788 timelock scripts. Timelock scripts can check only signatures & time (max/min slots). Plutus scripts allow to use arbitrary logic. Timelock scripts were already used in Mary era to mint tokens.

I got exactly 0 crash in cardano-node + db-sync since I started SM₳UG & 1 year ago. One explanation is that #Cardano does nothing as some say, the other is that they are programmed in Haskell which forces to anticipate most runtime errors at compilation.
