Don’t be tempted by private companies selling covid antibody tests, even if they say they have been bought by the NHS - chances are they weren’t good enough and were in the pile that were binned. A good test needs to have more than 99.5% sensitivity and specificity. #COVID19

Busy day. Hungry. Ate large plate of oven chips. I am literally dying of acid reflux. Now I know why half my patients are on a long term PPI. When are we going to market the fact that food is medicine? @CampbellMurdoch @lowcarbGP @BritSocLM @alf_collins

Then youngest (who is the most resilient person I know) said she was also feeling anxious and overwhelmed. The colours, the lights, the open space. Then the 1st trailer started and it was really loud (even for me) and they both started crying. 4/12

I asked my daughter what type of cake she wanted for her 10th birthday. She said a great white shark eating an astronaut on the moon, whilst he is planting an American flag. I jokingly told Ladybird Cakery and look what she did for me! I am speechless

We were all excited. Had a spot of lunch, sang Hamilton songs in the car on the way there and were ready to learn a whole new set of songs. We bought 🍿 and drinks and went to look for our seats. The cinema was empty so we had the pick of the lot. 2/12

@pkonline84 @drpoco Because only GPs and their teams can manage multi-morbidity and undifferentiated symptoms Much that we like the idea of saving the world from Covid, anyone can give a vaccine. Not anyone can do what primary care does

I don’t eat meat so am cooking steak for first time for my kids Absolutely stunned that there are only 263 calories in this steak. A sandwich can have double this Not sure why meat is considered unhealthy @CampbellMurdoch @lowcarbGP

Tonight I am reflecting on the fact that we poach doctors from other countries to mitigate against the haemorrhage of UK GPs, yet we do nothing to help them drive, find a safe space, house their families, or induct them to the NHS It feels like colonialism all over again 😢

Eldest said she felt a bit anxious and I told her she would be fine once she sat down and started eating popcorn. Then she said she wanted to go home and I got a bit cross and said no - we are all going to enjoy the movie. 3/12
