We would like to thank those who attended the fixture last weekend against Banwen RFC, as you may be aware Ioan Bartlett got injured whilst on permit from Cwmtwrch Rfc, we have therefore donated the gate money and also contributed to make a donation of £750 to help his finances.
It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Life Member Mr Dennis Gethin OBE who sadly left us this morning. Dennis represented the club from 1961 to 1972 alongside gaining his Cambridge Blue and 5 seasons as full back at Cardiff RFC. Dennis will be dearly missed.
Good Luck to David Francis who is playing for Wales U20 today against Scotland U20. We are all extremely proud of you and we are sure you’ll make a good account of yourself 👍🖤💚
A wonderful moment today to see another father and son play together for the 1xv. Ellis showing he's aiming for his dad's records by crossing the whitewash on his debut. Well done the both of you!

We as a club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Glyn Shaw.
Glyn played for the club between 1967 & 1971 before before reaching stardom with Neath RFC & Wales and an illustrious rugby league career.
We send our deepest sympathies and love to his family and friends.

Today's game will begin with a minute silence for the late Keeron Jones. After a successful youth career which included a Youth Cap, Keeron was a prominent member of the 1XV. All at SSRFC would like to extend their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Good win for 1sts today up in Bala, but perhaps our biggest success was getting our 2nds/development side out to play after struggling for many weeks to field a side. 15 players!

It's with sadness we announce the passing of our Life Member Mr Ceri Evans. Ceri was a long standing committee member and fixture secretary and will be missed by many. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family at this sad time.
