A very big thank you to one of our senior players - Luke Payne, and his father Andrew Payne, for their help in the construction of our new picnic tables.
With a panoramic view of the lower Neath Valley, they are a great asset for the club.
This list shows the projects completed since March 2020 to improve the club's off-field facilities.
We hope that these improvements will mean Tonna RFC can go from strength-to-strength when rugby returns in 2021.

A huge thank you to senior player Dominic Morris and his father Nigel Morris. They've spent many hours preparing and spray painting our changing rooms. This was a huge task given the vast area to cover, and the lack of ventilation in the warm weather. Many thanks both.

We are delighted to have a new addition to our coaching team in Scarlets back row forward Iwan Shenton. Iwan has played for Tonna in the past and his father Bryan Shenton was Head Coach of Tonna RFC for a number of seasons. Welcome aboard Iwan.
In response to the terrible events unfolding in their country, all proceeds of the gate collection and after-match raffle from Saturday’s game against Fall Bay RFC will be donated to the citizens of Ukraine.

The refurbished home changing room was looking great to welcome the Under 13s for their home fixture on Sunday. Well done to the team coaches and volunteers involved, and to former players Lee Mellor and Carl Bamsey for their renovation work carried out during the off season.
An excellent turnout by players and members yesterday for the presentation of Life Memberships to Club Chairman Gary Knight and Club Secretary Byron Morris. The awards were made by Steve Crawley Club President.
We are pleased to announce our new coaching team.
Rhys "Dozer" Jones is Head (and Forwards) coach and Jason Evans is Backs coach. Craig Mitchell coming in as Defence coach and Nicky Fisher as Assistant/Attack coach.
The defibrillator at Tonna RFC has been registered with the Welsh Ambulance Service and is now available for community use 24/7. Many thanks for the donations received from the fund-raising organised by Cllr. Leanne Jones, and our own Carnival Committee.
Huge thanks to Shane Williams for giving up his time to entertain a full hall at Tonna RFC on Friday. As a result, £1,800 was raised for Bowel Cancer UK.
