Delighted to learn that in few days since the new 5 km section got inaugurated, ridership of Kochi Metro has risen sharply to 95,300 yesterday from just 35,000 earlier. With this 175% increase within days, I am sure ridership will soon cross 100,000 mark.

Inspected the works of New Parliament Building yesterday. It is going on in full swing with all effective measures to control air pollution. AQI on the site is better than a place 500 metres away from there. Noise barrier ensures that no one outside is effected by the works.
