@zlj517 Australia has investigated, owned up to and will prosecute its war criminals. China's crimes against humanity (Uighurs etc) are state sanctioned, covered up, and more widespread. That's the key difference.

To those damning the NSW PS pay freeze, pls spare a thought for the almost 1 mill private sector workers who have lost their jobs and many more who have had wages cut and pay rises cancelled. What they wouldn't give for the security of a government-paid job, let alone a pay rise.

@RealRonHoward Compulsion has 2 advantages: 1. Parties don't need to raise millions on get out the vote and further compromise integrity by soliciting even more donations. 2. Compelling people to vote ensures the middle also votes and the left and right extremes are kept at bay.

I understand the AFL has stood down journalist Mitch Cleary after he posted the deleted Brooke Cotchin Insta post that led to the $45,000 COVID breach fine. She had already been named on radio. It was of public interest. What a strange decision by the AFL.
