Parker Police Officers arrested Bryce Sheek, pictured below, (07/30/99) and Caleb Hunt-Arnold (08/06/01) yesterday on charges of attempting to rob two separate victims at gunpoint.

Community Services Manager Anthony Mazzeo climbed down to the bottom of a storm water culvert to rescue Max the Border Collie who was stuck. After wrapping Max in his jacket, he was lifted back up to the tunnel he ran in. Max was very excited to see Anthony after the rescue.

The Douglas County School District will be CLOSED on Wednesday, March 13, due to forecasted weather conditions. All after-school activities – including athletics, clubs, parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events – are cancelled.
It is with a heavy heart we hear of the tragic loss of Sergeant Michael Moran, who was killed in the line of duty today. We hope the comfort of friends and family will help the members of the Cortez Police Department and the Officer's family through this tragic time.
We are evacuating the Parker Wal-Mart on a reported bomb threat. There is a heavy police presence in the area.
We are asking all residents to avoid the area until it has been cleared.
The Parker Police Department, with the assistance of the APD SWAT team arrested Tory Conyers, 44, as a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on August 21, 2023. A charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
