A barbershop has opened at Maghaberry. Run by our partners @bfastmet , it gives prisoners new skills and helps them to get a job when they are released. This is just one of the ways we help to build a safer community by supporting people to change. #rehabilitation #NIprisons

Our staff continue to think of those who need help at this difficult time. Over the past few weeks our Prisoner Escorting and Courts Custody Service has collected supplies for a local foodbank. The first carload was delivered yesterday. Well done to all.

Hydebank was delighted to welcome children from @NIACRO Children with Imprisoned Parents project who had lunch and chatted with staff about life in a prison. One of our visitors made this card for their dad. Keeping families together can play a key role in #rehabilitation .

Our healthcare partners are working alongside prison staff to support people in our care – no more so than now. In response to the challenges they are all facing we have prepared a ‘stand down’ area in Maghaberry for all staff. #IND2020 #Keyworkers Together

Chaplains play a very important role in prison life. They have had to think of new ways to continue their support for the people in our care. On Sunday Fr Stephen and Rev David held a prayer service for everyone at Hydebank through our tannoy system. #Keyworkers Together.
