@AnneUndone1 When I was told at my 12 week scan that I’d lost my pregnancy but needed to wait potentially weeks for my body to reject it and start getting rid of it, it was torture. Carrying around a corpse inside my body. The pain this poor woman must have gone through is unimaginable.

@BadMedicalTakes Jesus Christ. I gained weight in my first trimester because eating was the only way to reduce my ALL DAY nausea and because I was so exhausted I could barely get up off the sofa. Also breastfeeding women need to snack to keep their milk supply up. Dieting while BF isn’t great.

@adamfare1996 I had this my whole adult life. They told me at 19 that IBS was an "umberella term" to cover whatever they didn't understand. A few years ago I was lucky enough to see a French doctor who told me about a very rare (see also under diagnosed) condition called LPAC syndrome.
