Our club is devastated at the news of the untimely death of our senior player and county U-20 captain Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time. All club activity has been postponed until further notice.
🟢⚪ We have received numerous messages and emails from GAA clubs within the county and throughout the country. We are very grateful for their support in what has been a difficult time for us all.
This evening we were delighted to meet with the Ó Dufaigh family to present them with the first four limited-edition Ógie jerseys.
This special jersey was designed by our senior captain Aodhán Óg McAnespie in collaboration with the Ó Dufaigh family.
Our juveniles this morning formed an O in memory of the late Ógie Ó Dufaigh. Ogie started out his football journey with us on Saturday mornings, it was a pleasure to coach him, to know him and to watch him grow up into an amazing young man. Codladh sámh Ógie 💚🤍💚🤍

All at Monaghan Harps GAA are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Seamie Bell. Seamie served as physio of our senior footballers for a number of years and was very popular within our club. Our thoughts are with his young family and his wide circle of friends.
Well done to our senior team on finishing top of Group Two of the Intermediate Football Championship after a hard-earned draw away to Castleblayney today. We now progress to the semi-finals next month.
A reminder for all club members that tomorrow (Saturday, January 14) is Hugh Coyle's first Anniversary Mass at 10am in St. Joseph's. Given what the club meant to Hugh, it would be nice to show his family that Hugh is still in our thoughts.

Any team that reaches an All-Ireland final is going to face more than a few marquee attackers and Lynch was the man tasked with trying to curb them. Few got much change out of him and his early injury-enforced departure from the All-Ireland final was a tough blow.
Congratulations to Seán Callan on being named as Monaghan minor captain for 2022. Best of luck to Seán, Oisín Reilly, Jack Lynch and the panel tomorrow and in the year ahead.
