A fishing vessel was intercepted by the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard on Saturday 23 March 2024 and its occupants were detained for illegal fishing. Upon boarding the vessel and conducting the necessary searches, thirty thousand pounds (30,000 lbs) of fish was found.
