Today was both sad and happy as our lovely Mrs Findlay moves on to pastures new. Our wee people presented her with flowers, cards and gifts and we all enjoyed cake. Our nursery parents, past and present also gifted a lovely hamper full of goodies. Good luck and haste ye back.
The look of amazement, shock and pure joy on our children’s faces makes every minute of this video worth it. The laughter and happiness says it all! ❤️🌟

Thank you so much to everyone who helped knit our Everywhere Bears. Each one unique and individual, just like all the children that attend Mid Calder nursery! Mrs Aikman, thank you for your contributions, organisation and time to make this happen.

We are so lucky to have Calderwood on our doorstep. Exploring and discovering how to help each other as we climb or get stuck. Our own homemade soup heated us up on this cold and frosty morning.

There's no such thing as bad weather, it's bad clothing. Following our wellbeing indicators 'Safe Sophie and Responsible Nina' we made toast outdoors on the fire. As the children said, "Our skin is waterproof!"

Happy memories with our P7 pupils today. What a lovely afternoon to spend with some delightful young people. We will truly miss you in so many ways. Good luck!
Today the nursery went out on a walk to take photos of the things we liked. However we got a little distracted by the big pile of leaves at the front of our school, and this happened…
