How often do you hear “speed was not a factor” in a crash? They mean the driver wasn’t exceeding the (probably too high) speed limit. Remember, when it comes to the likelihood that vehicle crashes will occur, & whether the consequences are deadly or not, SPEED IS ALWAYS A FACTOR.

Each year that passes I’m in awe of the courage on display at our #1October Remembrance. The strength it takes to speak publicly about a loved one lost or to give a first hand account is inspiring and I offer my deepest appreciation to those who share so that we may remember.

This morning, my daughter met Mrs. Lucy Jacob’s, a Holocaust survivor. On this day, 80 years ago her parents were murdered in #Auschwitz . Her story is incredible and must be remembered.

The line is moving smoothly at Silverado High School for meal distribution. As a reminder, breakfast & lunch is being provided for students during the closure of schools. One school-age student (2-18 years old) must be present. Academic resources can be picked up at these sites.
