Very weird take: Roger Craig Smith in Sonic Frontiers is probably my favorite take on Sonic. I know that a lot of people prefer the upbeat edgy teenager. But honestly, I always saw Sonic as a teenager with the maturity of an adult. Sonic Frontiers fits that bill perfectly.

I didn't see an issue with Sonic's character until I found out Sonic Prime was canon. Sonic Prime's character works if it's just Sonic from Sonic Prime. But Prime Sonic and game Sonic aren't similar at all. They're vastly different. That's why I don't like Prime being canon.

I don't see a problem with SEGA pricing Sonic Superstars at $60 as long as it has enough content and it's good. Just like every other game, if it's peak, it's worth the $60. If it sucks, $60 won't be worth it. Sounds more like a trust issue than a pricing issue honestly.

There was a time where Pokémon was one of the best Nintendo franchises. The DS era was peak. Generation 5 specifically, Pokémon Black & White showed so much polish and FELT like a AAA game. It seemed like the DS's hardware was being used to genuinely make the game better.
