I’m told that volunteers are needed from 11am-6pm today at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Midway St Paul to distribute donations. They received an incredible amount of donations yesterday, so the focus is on volunteers who can help distribute.

The global economy runs on 20% electricity, with the rest from burning things, mostly fossils. For a human-safe climate, it needs to run on 60-80% clean electricity. We need to make this change in ~two decades.

There is no one in St Paul politics and government that is more no-frills than Kathy Lantry. If she is in favor of a new thing, it means it is so absurdly common sense that the people opposing it are borderline (or maybe absolutely) clowns. Summit Ave Trail is a slam dunk.

Six weeks ago an older neighbor walked over a handwritten letter asking me to shovel for her and her husband this winter (and put it in our mail box). I called her and said it was no problem. Tonight, the third shoveling or so, I find this note on the door. Ha ha. I love it!

This is just one of the many reasons I'm opposed to the Summit Ave Trail plan. The truck was parked, & no one was loading/unloading to be seen. No enforcement is to be seen. The vehicle easily accessed the raised trail due to the curb's lower part. Alisa Lein, Saint Paul

Got a code through the Mn connector this AM, signed up for 10AM appointment at MPLS convention center, waited in line maybe 5 min. Replaced my second mask with the provided mask. Basic intake for a couple minutes. Waiting here til 10:15. Tons of workers directing folks.

Established women's soccer systems are still essentially dominated by wealthy, white, suburban folks. When a diverse team like Como Park faces this kind of racist garbage, it needs to be called out and dealt with strongly. Otherwise that status quo will be assumed to be OK.

#Energy Twitter: our house in St Paul with new solar, hard wired level 2 EV charger, air source heat pump water heater, and upgraded electrical to handle the rest of full electrification is coming on the market soon. (We're staying the neighborhood, just moving houses.)
