In the news conference today, Shandro questioned Health Canada's decision to approve AstraZ for those aged 65+. I'm not sure why he thinks he knows better than Health Canada. I also don't think we need the Minister of Health fueling vaccine hesitancy.

Are we really bragging about money that we wasted losing a case in the Supreme Court?

When Justin Trudeau imposed his carbon tax on Albertans, we promised to challenge it every step of the way. We kept our word. We won at the Alberta Court of Appeal, and challenged it to the Supreme Court with other provincial allies, Sask. & Ontario. Promise made, promise kept.

Another video showing why the UCP shouldn't be trusted with the health care system. Patients shouldn't be financially punished for showing up in the ER when they don't have other options.

A shocking new video has emerged of Danielle Smith's Deputy Premier, Nathan Neudorf, confirming the UCP's plans to make you pay for healthcare. His words: "Maybe if someone had to pay for that, they'd think twice about going to the emergency." This video was shot on May 8th.

Ridiculous that this gov tries to scapegoat AHS for hospital capacity issues when it was their bad policy that created the problem in the first place. via @calgaryherald

Albertans, here are your tax dollars at work. In what other line of work could you talk about people like this while at work and still keep your job?

Watching the presser on the Turkish Tylenol debacle. Smith pats herself on the back for this $80M embarrassment. Drug shortages are a significant issue, but provinces importing their own supplies on an ad hoc basis as a publicity stunt is an expensive/inefficient response. /1

At its Annual General Meeting, the UCP voted in favor of the resolution below. If gov adopts this resolution as written, universities and other post-secondaries would lose funding if they have EDI offices or policies.

2000 lives lost so far. Thanks to the person who traveled from BC, went to meetings, and has now caused 35 cases, 1 death, and 2 people in ICU. 27% jump in cases in last week alone. We are on track to hit 2000 cases/day by end of this month...

Kenney said yesterday that BC/SK have similar rules to us but better numbers. There are differences in the rules and when they were imposed in those provs. More importantly, do you know what BC/SK don't have? A premier that constantly normalizes and excuses violating the rules.

This press conference is something else. The province has responded to their so-called concerns with "federal overreach" by tabling legislation filled with provincial overreach.

Misleading nonsense. First, no one wants masks indefinitely. Second, today wasn't a final determination of the merits of the case. The case will still go ahead.

Pleased to report that the Court of QB just threw-out the ridiculous application by the NDP Labour Federation to force kids to wear masks indefinitely. Also glad to see that the teachers union backed down on last weekโ€™s threat to do the same thing. Common sense is prevailing

I am most disappointed in gov, but I'm also disappointed in CMOH. I know that some disagree, but she's crossed an ethical line. She alone signed the public health orders that wouldn't protect the public and she alone sat at press conferences and endorsed ineffective policies.
