Today I spoke out against the Welsh Government’s intention to copy Scotland’s Self ID Bill. Will it take something bad to happen before the Welsh Government wake up and realise the massive safeguarding issues? Women and children must be protected.

Statement from @GillianKeegan on RSE guidance. She says parents are the first educators of their children and must be able to see all materials on RSE. Gender identity must not be taught. Sex education will not be taught until Y5 and must be age appropriate and fact-based.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Owen John Thomas. Although on opposite benches, Owen John was always a gentleman, always kind & even taught me my first welsh words. The gentle, yet captivating way that he spoke in the then Welsh Assembly always demanded my full attention.

💷Great to meet with LINK today in the Senedd, to talk about where in my region could benefit from more bankings services or cash points. 💷 Also, we discussed what additional criteria should be added to their process to ensure that these services get to rural parts of Wales.

Last week I lead a debate on The Cass Review. ❌ It’s taken weeks to get a response from Welsh Labour and they still won’t commit to adopting the recommendations set out in the report. 🥀 It’s clear they’re still set on following ideology over evidence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Wales deserves better

Today the Senedd will vote on Labour and Plaid’s plan for 36 more politicians in Wales. ❌ I will be voting AGAINST ❌ More politicians will cost £120m+ money that should be been spent on more doctors, nurses & teachers in Wales This is NOT a priority for the people of Wales.
