9:45PM Radar Update โ Strong thunderstorms, some severe, are continuing to move across the area. The strongest parts of the line are moving towards the MS Gulf Coast and coastal SE LA. Heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and gusty winds will all be possible. Stay weather aware!
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of the New Orleans Metro until 5/13 11:00PM. Street flooding is happening or about to happen. Don't drive through flooded roads.

9:00PM Radar Update โ The line of strong to severe thunderstorms continues to move across the area. Recently, winds of 63 mph were recorded at Lakefront Airport. Continue to use extreme caution on area roadways and take shelter immediately if a warning is issued for your area!

8:05p We're seeing strong winds even behind the line of storms. A few wind gusts of over 60 mph have already been reported. Additional wind damage will be possible and a High Wind Warning is now in effect for areas generally along/north of the I-10/12 corridor and west of I-55.
Will be watching these storms over the next several hours for the possibility of small hail as they move closer to the I-30 Corridor.
