Can we discuss how Perez finished 22 seconds behind Verstappen when he started 4 places ahead of him and was overtaken on lap 17 in the exact same car?
Remember when we were all called crazy conspiracy theorists for thinking what happened at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was deliberate and planned out? Yeah funny times
🚨 | The President of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem is under investigation for alleged attempt to interfere over a race result.
A whistleblower has told the FIA that Ben Sulayem allegedly intervened to overturn a penalty given to Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso at the 2023 Saudi
THIS is proper racing between two great drivers, no running a driver off track, no crazy lunges up the inside without making the corner, no contact and/or damage just 2 great drivers showing respect for each other on track showing perfect racing skill🤝
Toto Wolff's decision to choose Valtteri Bottas as Nico Rosberg's replacement is not given enough credit. He created one of the most successful and harmonious team mate partnerships F1 has ever seen.
A Verstappen-Russell line up would be hilarious icl, hearing Russell say "Crickey, that was a close one" when he gets pushed off track for the 54th time in 5 races would crack me up
⚠️ | AMuS:
At the moment, Max Verstappen is the hottest candidate for the Mercedes seat alongside George Russell.
Helmut Marko is concerned that the turbulence in the team could drive away not only Verstappen, but also star designer Adrian Newey and future engine partner Ford.
Lewis is a better person than me, because if it was me I'd purposely give them incorrect feedback and turn them into a German Alpine just for the bants
So Lewis will be doing experiments for the rest of the season.
I’m going to need ppl to remember this. I don’t want to see you saying he’s checked out. Or that he’s simply not as comfortable in a shitty car.
THIS is what his season will be.
It's actually quite mad how badly F1 fumbled the greatest F1 season of all time and it's greatest ever chance to truly establish itself as a global sport, all just to stop one driver/team
Mercedes qualifying strategy is actually horrific if we're being real, way too many times this season Hamilton and Russell have been knocked out because of poor communication and strategy
Ferrari's new Red Bull-style sidepod solution has been spotted for the first time ahead of Formula 1's Spanish Grand Prix.
Here is what it looks like, as per

One driver just won 19 out of 22 races, in a set of regulations that was designed to making the racing closer and the field more competitive, shall we just deep that for a second?
I think
@MercedesAMGF1
need to offer their fans a valid and detailed reason why they didn't appeal, because that wasn't offered in the message they gave us.
It's actually crazy to think that Hamilton & Bottas didn't have a single on track incident with each other in their 5 seasons together as teammates, truly an F1 dream team 🕊️
I can't wait for Verstappen's reaction when he attempts an overtake around the outside and gets pushed off track by a driver with no intention of making the corner
I think in many ways Mercedes are lucky to have Hamilton as a driver this season, because I can't imagine drivers like Alonso or Verstappen would've accepted the technical niggles, slow pitstops, bad strategies and set up experiments as cordially as Lewis has this season tbh
What if Lewis is deliberately sabotaging his quali so Merc lose 2nd place to Ferrari in the championship, consequently giving them more Windtunnel time for next season?
If you look closely, you can see that the driver on the inside has Red Bull logos positioned on his car, therefore, in conclusion, no further investigation is necessary.
It's so annoying how Sky Sports, F1, The FIA and Netflix are still trying to promote 2021 as one of the greatest F1 seasons of all time while completely ignoring the humongous Elephant in the room
I can accept Mercedes having one bad year being comfortably in 3rd, but to create another bad car which is now slower than it's customer team is nowhere near good enough for a team like Mercedes, changes need to be made

King of Silverstone. 🇬🇧👑
Being 53 points behind your winless teammate with 1 sprint victory and 2 podiums is supposedly a better rookie season than beating a reigning two time world champion in the same car and finishing 1 point off the title with 4 wins, a pole position and 12 podiums...okay then 👍
Oscar Piastri's double podium appearance in Qatar has moved him ever closer to Lewis Hamilton's all-time rookie record. Should his form continue, could the Aussie could go down as the best rookie in F1 history? 🤔
Hamilton's title rivals after facing him:
Raikkonen-Went on a sabbatical for 2 years in 2009
Massa-Never won a race again after 2008
Rosberg-Retired immediately
Vettel-Effectively Sacked by Ferrari in 2020
Verstappen-Looking at a 'limited' career if he faces Hamilton again
If Hamilton was rated using the same criteria people rate Verstappen with, we'd have been calling Lewis one of the greatest drivers of all time midway through his rookie season
An interesting fact I learnt from F1 fans recently was that Lewis Hamilton is the only driver in F1 history to have won the Championship with a fast car. I honestly don't know how the other 32 F1 Champions managed it, while driving wheelie bins every race weekend 🤯
The way Red Bull treated Perez yesterday and over the whole season is exactly why Norris chose to sign a multi-year deal at McLaren rather than join Red Bull and tbh I can't blame him
Adrian Newey is the enemy of the Max fan agenda. He admitted that Max had the best car last year & that Max deliberately brake tested Lewis in Jeddah last season l. I bet they're fuming 😂😂😂
Hamilton's gap at the end was 2 seconds, it is without doubt that he lost the race win today in the pitstops, Mercedes HAS to address these poor pitstops for next season, it will majorly cost them in a title fight
Guys...maybe just maybe, the W13 is hopelessly bad and won't be fixed at any point this season because Mercedes went with the wrong design philosophy which can't be fixed within the constraints of the budget cap. We aren't cooking, we aren't plotting, we're just fucked. I'm sorry
🚨 | Mattia Binotto is a key target for Audi F1.
They need top personnel for their engine department.
As it stands, Audi is behind on their 2026 engines. Mercedes are ahead of the pack:
BREAKING: Vladimir Putin has withdrawn troops from the Ukrainian border due to pressure from the F1 Twitter sub community known as "Team LH." More to follow...
2020 is so clear of 2022 lets be real.2020 had 13 different podium finishers and 5 different winners including an Alpha Tauri & a Racing Point with classic races such as Turkey, Italy, Sahkir, Mugello, Austria etc what has 2022 got other than RB domination & Ferrari being clowns?
Tomorrow we will either see someone break the F1 record for championships won
or
match the championships of K.Rosberg,N.Rosberg,Hunt,Button,Villeneuve,D.Hill,P.Hill,Andretti,Mansell,Hawthorn,Surtees,Scheckter,Hulme,Farina,Raikkonen,Rindt and Jones.
I think everyone can agree that this is the most embarrassing moment in F1 and the FIA's history. We're looking at a champion not being crowned for weeks even months after the championship has finished simply because of an incompetent race director who broke the FIA's own rules.
Lewis has won it all in F1, being P2 gives him nothing, while Russell seems sort of satisfied given he's not won anything substantial yet also having come from a backmarker team

How the hell did Lewis and Mercedes take the Championship to the final round and effectively win it with no upgrades post Silverstone while Red Bull were bring multiple upgrades from that point? 😂
It's so strange that so many current and ex F1 drivers speak so negatively about Lewis in the press when he frequently shows them respect on and off track.
2024 has to go down as the most pointless F1 season of all time. Everyone knew the champion before the season started, the racing is incredibly boring, there were zero driver moves and all the exciting news and focus is on 2025. If only there was a way to skip this season
