I just heard Hickman Mills school district is raising their starting teachers to over $46,000. Their max salaries will top off at over $95,000. While these salaries are still woefully low for teachers, I applaud the district for making teachers a priority

KC Tenants hosted a party for residents at the North Lawn Apartments after securing their ability to stay in their apartments. New owners were attempting to evict them so they could double the rent. Proud of the city for stepping up to help these refugees and immigrants
