Tears of gratitude are flowing down my face as I type this. My husband got up from his wheelchair this morning and WALKED INTO THE KITCHEN! Yes, he had to use crutches, but he walked for the first time in years! God’s mercies are new every morning. I’m literally shaking with joy.

Family, I need your prayers, please. I rushed him up Spur Tree last night, back to Hargreaves. I was waiting for a home care nurse to bring a feeding tube but she never showed up. After 3 days of refusing any food or liquids, he was feverish and began convulsing. My heart hurts.

So what started as a routine Doctor’s appointment morphed into a hospital admission. He’ll be on an intravenous antibiotics regimen for at least five days. Yesterday I claimed a day filled with miracles and blessings. The miracle is, he’s still alive. The blessing is, he’s alive.
