Welcome to the “no win” world of a working class young man who’s done well, never forgotten what it’s like to struggle , and dared to spend some of his money on his family.
Ok, so let’s address this. I’m 23. I came from little. I need to protect not just my future but my family’s too. To do that I made a decision at the beg of 2020 to start investing more in property. Please don’t run stories like this alongside refs to ‘campaigning’.
The problem with this line of defence is that, do we think Ismail’s mother didn’t want to “take care” of her child in his final moments on earth?

He got so much flak for buying his mum a house."If people want to write about mum’s bathroom in her house, all I have to tell you is 15 years ago, we were cleaning toilets in Stonebridge, getting breakfast out of the vending machine. If anybody deserves to be happy it’s my mum.

By my reckoning this is the fourth 15 year old stabbed to death in less than a month. If four 15 year olds died after eating contaminated sandwiches from a shop you'd expect some sort of Government call for an inquiry or urgent action of some kind. Perhaps it will come.
“The victim of this stabbing was a schoolboy with his whole life ahead of him. He had everything to live for. This was a senseless attack. We share the concern and alarm this murder will no doubt cause in the local community."

Seems to me there are huge numbers of “real” people (outside of any “media bubble”) saying they didn’t get to see or hold or speak to loved ones who died because they stuck to the guidance and see this as a relevant story right now .
It might be “huge” in the media world but in the real world of 🇬🇧 most people don’t even know who Dom Cummings is. I’ve seen every day for years how “power works” in the financial & political world. For me the real issues are the economic disaster of ongoing lockdown and China.
