My Mom and her BF have COVID. They are both vaccinated. Their symptoms lasted 3 days and were mild. She never ran fever. Both qualified for antibodies which stopped her symptoms altogether. The vaccine works. This is exactly what it does — lowers the risk of hospitalization.

Our Law Firm will begin closing at 4:00 M-Th instead of 5:00 starting Monday. This gives our staff more time with family in the evening. Being a small firm gives us flexibility and I love being able to make it work for all of us.

I’m overwhelmed by the dishonest actions I see in the cases I litigate. Outright deceit, misquoting cases and the record, discovery abuse, altered evidence. It wasn’t this bad even 5 years ago. I don’t know what the answer is but it feels hopeless.

In Louisiana employers of chicken plants are exempt from penalties for employing undocumented workers. La R.S. 23:991, et al. I wrote a package of bills amending these laws removing the exemption and adding a progressive penalty. No one will file the bills. #LaLege

My second hand anxiety can't handle these lawyers anymore. Louisiana's S, Crt issued a 55 page opinion disbarring a lawyer for social media comments about the judge in her case. The lawyer also argued 1st amendment rights, La S Crt shut that down.

Our contact tracers have noted a disturbing pattern: Only one in five people is self-isolating when they develop COVID-19 symptoms. Close to 80% continue to circulate in the community. That needs to stop. If you're sick, stay home.

I believe the charges should stand — but our Constitution also affords him a competent attorney. I hope he gets one.

Have y’all heard about the Plaintiff lawyers in Louisiana who paid people to stage 150 18 wheeler accidents? 33 indictments, 2 RICO lawsuits and its ongoing. I am floored by all of this.

Doctors have been identified in the lawsuit, a truck driver was fired after one “accident,” and C.R. England paid out over $4 million in a case.
