12 years ago we broke ground on Soccer Stadium in San Antonio called Toyota Field for San Antonio Scorpions. The NASL team & stadium would be sold to Spurs Sports & Entertainment who rebranded to San Antonio FC & joined USL. Stadium was transformational for soccer in San Antonio.

FYI, NPSL will make a formal announcement tomorrow but the Fort Worth Vaqueros and Denton Diablos will play in 2020, assuming we Kick COVID-19 and get back to normal life and sports gets back on the field. Look forward to celebrating the beautiful game with our fans this Summer.

If Open Cup collapses the league that could be hurt the most in the short-term is @NPSLSoccer The biggest incentive for ambitious anatuer & semipro clubs to stick with NPSL is the direct path to USOC w/o going through qualifying in competing adult-amateur leagues.

IMO - MLS SuperDraft Announcements should include College, Youth Club and their USL/NPSL Team. All played a critical role in getting the player to to this point. Not to mention, great promotion for Youth Club and their USL/NPSL Club plus a step towards bringing soccer together.
