The person you stole this picture from cared more for Oscar Elite than you ever will.
Using his accidental and much lamented death to raise funds for your grossly misinformed cause is utterly tasteless.
You are nothing but shameless charlatans doing sod all for animal rights.
We will never stop taking action for animal justice. Oscar Elite (pictured) fell at today's Scottish Grand National and was killed shortly after. This is heart-breaking and unnecessary, in a world that has so much potential to just be kind. We don't need to be forcing these
Prior to today's race, Hill Sixteen had 27 outings over jumps. During those contests, he cleared 398 hurdles and fences without falling once. The one time he unseated came as a result of his being badly hampered.
He was a very sound jumper. This leaves only one variable...
@AnimalRising
This is a clip of today's winner lolloping around at home last year. Does this look like a poorly treated horse in need of your protection?
Of the genuine UK animal welfare issues to concern yourselves with, this is the one that... gets donations. Right?

So much this. Whatever the result of this very thorough and thoughtful process, Giovinco has received the best treatment available to any animal on the planet.
He is loved like no other animal, and I pray he continues to experience that love for many years to come.

1) A very well treated and much loved horse who died instantly and did not suffer for one second
2) A jockey who clearly suffered immeasurable emotional anguish.
You are much happier about this horse dying than anybody in the racing industry.

My only concern is that by reactively focussing on the magnificently cared-for horses, who ARE in the majority, racing overlooks those that are not.
We should not be in denial about our own shortcomings when it comes to matters such as bad actors and overproduction.

Horses can and do exercise their will and refuse to race.
Nobody is "forcing" them to do ANYTHING. Giovinco jumped every fence bar one, and he had a lot of fun doing so. More so than I am arguing with people who base their judgements on complete falsehoods.
